  • QUALIFICATIONS:Discovery Services Technician is an entry level position that performs tasks in support of operations and provides assistance in resolving issues in order to maintain production levels. The position requires an AS/BA/BS degree or equivalent, along with 1-2 years of related technical and customer service work experience. Responsibilities •Support more experienced Discovery Operations staff in monitoring and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the company’s production applications and follow task oriented processes to achieve desired outcomes. •Solve the variety of issues that can occur in the production environment to maintain production levels that meets or exceeds customer expectations and meets the Error Free / On Time (EFOT) standards for deliverables. •This requires the ability to see characters (i.e. letters, numbers, symbols, etc.) clearly on a computer screen in order to identify and solve issues; •cope with stress inherent to supporting 24x7 operations and stress in dealing with time-sensitive deliverables; •identify and protect sensitive information; •provide frequent communication to internal customers about the status of activities in a coherent and accurate manner; •develop knowledge of technical tools, methods and technologies to generate solutions;
