Enforce these regulations and laws. •Enforce directives contained in parent and staff handbooks, health and safety policies, and program plan. •Apply for licensing from Minnesota Department of Human Services every two years; from Hennepin County Health Department yearly. •Maintain required child/adult ratio. •Lead staff to achieve NAEYC Accreditation and attend to necessary duties to maintain accreditation status. •Ensure that lunch and snacks served at the center meet nutritional guidelines. Enrollment and Family Relations •Responsible for all aspects of enrollment: advertising, registration, parent tours/orientation, parent handbook and maintaining accurate enrollment records. •Help set a positive tone with parents through regular communication & newsletters. •Address parent concerns, changes in schedule, billing questions, etc. •Plan, facilitate and attend family/staff events. Financial Management •Manage overall business operations and financial management of NCFC. •Ensure sound financial policies and procedures are followed. •Partner with NCFC Board Treasurer in preparing an annual budget, monthly financial reports and financial projections. •Operate within budget. Curriculum and Programming •Monitor state and national standards for curriculum. Research and incorporate ongoing best practices to ensure that NCFC continues to offer an appropriate curriculum for excellent academic development. •Oversee teaching assignments and daily programming. Staff Leadership •Observe, supervise, and evaluate staff in the development and implementation of the center curriculum. •Prepare position descriptions and hire staff as needed. •Orientation of new staff members and ongoing development of in-service training. •Facilitate regularly-scheduled staff meetings. •Provide professional growth opportunities for staff; ensure that all staff have and maintain appropriate credentials.   • DUTIES:We need a nanny for our 2 boys, 6yrs old & 3yrs old starting July 28 through the month of August, Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 1:45pm. At the beginning of September the time will change from 11am - 2:45pm, M-F. You will only be taking care of our 3 year old during this time. The person needs to be responsible, caring, active, willing to be adventurous with our boys. Also, have an understanding or willingness to learn about food allergies. Additional responsibilities include making lunch,snacks, picking up youngest son from preschool starting in September, naps, reading, playing legos and trucks, and general cleaning responsibilities that coincide with caring for our boys.
