Dr. Paul Blezien
As Vice President of Student Development, Paul brings a passion for promoting student excellence with an extraordinary depth to his expertise in Christ-centered student life. His nature is built around investing in others and a true belief in life-long learning. Paul believes he has been called to higher education and feels a strong personal alignment with this position at Crown because of the clear vision and mission of the college, as well as his desire for institutional transformation and forward movement.
Recognizing the critical balance between supporting students in finding their calling and their vocation, Paul is drawn to students and energized by their educational and spiritual journeys. He places a strong focus in his student development work on the value of relationships in community-building and believes those leading in higher education must be faithful stewards of a sacred trust: the students whom God has placed on campus.
Dr. Blezien, a noted author, conference speaker, and adjunct professor, received his Doctoral Studies in Higher Education (Ed.D.) from Azusa Pacific University, an M.A. in Student Personnel in Higher Education from Ball State University, and his B.S. in Business Administration (with a Psychology minor) from the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point.
Paul comes to Crown College after serving for nine years as VP of Student Development, Senior Vice President, and Interim President at William Jessup University in California; prior to that, 15 years at Northwestern College in Iowa.
Married to his lovely wife, Mary Ann, for more than 30 years, Paul is a dad, and grandpa. His desire is to be part of an experience in which, when completed, its success could only be attributed to the hand of the Lord.

Dr. James M. Hunter
Jim is a familiar face at Crown College, having successfully led several areas over the last decade, including Athletics, Admissions, and Crown’s Online Enrollment team. Most recently, Jim served as Dean of Crown College’s School of Online Studies & Graduate School. Jim’s success is due to his tenacious quest for excellence, his strategic focus, and his desire to see small private colleges thrive.
As Vice President for External Relations, Jim will help establish a more externally focused framework for the College. He will communicate with strategic stakeholders including donors, alumni, and organizations about how Crown is preparing students—academically, spiritually, and professionally—for relevance in the 21stcentury.
In partnership with President Dr. Joel Wiggins, Jim will build new relationships with those who are also passionate about engaging and developing leaders who are called to serve and prepared to lead, with a Christ-centered global perspective.
Dr. Hunter received his B.S. at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Crown College and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota.
Jim and his wife, Michele reside in Waconia with their four kids, JD, Ryan, Lexi and Sophia.

Dr. Fawn McCracken
As Dean of the Crown College School of Online Studies and Graduate School, Dr. Fawn McCracken is an experienced administrator and educator seeking to provide Christ -centered, academically excellent, innovative online education services.
Most recently, Fawn served as Crown’s Associate Dean of Online Studies and Graduate School as well as Director of Teaching, Learning and Curriculum. She has been a vital part of the College’s online and graduate school leadership team since October, 2009. Since then she has been responsible for developing and launching new degree programs such as the Crown online MBA, overseeing the online curriculum, and supervising all instructional aspects for the School of Online Studies and Graduate School.
Dedicating her life to advancing God’s kingdom through Christ-centered education, Fawn brings over twenty years of experience in Christian education. Prior to joining Crown, Fawn was the secondary principal and educator at a regionally accredited K-12 Christian school. Dr. McCracken received her B.A. in Secondary Education at Nyack College, M.S. in School Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Doctorate of Education in Distance Education/Online Learning at Regent University.
Fawn, her husband, Tom, and two daughters live on a hobby farm in Norwood Young America, southwest of Waconia.

Dr. Scott Moats
As Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, Scott serves as the chief academic officer, overseeing all of the academic programs at Crown College.
Dr. Moats received his B.A. at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. He continued his education at the Alliance Theological Seminary in New York. He also has an M.A. from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Moats received a Master of Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Minnesota and furthered his education at the University of Minnesota to receive a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Administration.
Prior to coming to Crown in the fall of 1991, Scott served as senior pastor to a church plant in Pembroke Pines, Florida. 1988 - 1991. He then joined the Crown College team in 1991 as the director of Career Services and Christian Service. Since arriving at Crown, Scott has served as a Professor and Department Chair before serving as the Academic Dean. While at Crown he has contributed to the CCCU Leadership Development, served on the Waconia School Board and continues to serve at local churches as an Interim Pastor and Pulpit Supply.

As Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing, Mike serves as the chief administrator for enrollment as well as the Financial Aid and Marketing offices.
Mike joined Crown in 2010 from Bethel University where he was the Director of Admissions in their adult education program. His background includes more than decade of managerial experience, and nearly 20 years of experience in higher education related to enrollment management.
Mike has his Associate of Marketing degree from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, a B.S. in Organizational Administration from Northwestern College (MN), and he completed his MBA in 2008 at Bethel University. He was named to the "High Achievers Club" for outstanding performance by Career Education Corporation (CEC), and in 2001 he was the CEC's "Leader of the Year."

Susan R. Wilson, CPA
As Vice President of Finance & Operations, Sue serves as the chief financial officer, overseeing the Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Operations functional areas of Crown College.
Sue received a graduate banking degree from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and graduated as the salutatorian of her class with honors for her thesis and leadership. She received her B.S. in Accounting from Minnesota State University Mankato with minors in Business Administration and Computer Science and has been a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Minnesota since 1984.
Prior to coming to Crown in 2013, Sue’s career spanned over 25 years in the financial services industry in leadership roles responsible for Finance, Operations, and Technology. Most recently, she served as Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Signature Bank, Minnetonka, MN from its inception in 2003-2013. Sue recently served as an adjunct faculty in the Business Department of the University of Northwestern—St. Paul, has been a repeat instructor for the MN Bankers’ Association, and has also volunteered her time to provide financial literacy education to women.
Sue lives in Eden Prairie with her husband of 30+ years (the "love of my life"). They have two adult children and one grandchild.
