Crown College Annual Scholarship Chapel and Luncheon Event

Friday, April 11th, 2014

On Friday, April 11th, Crown College hosted its annual Scholarship Chapel and Luncheon. This year sixty-six students were awarded endowed scholarships, funded by scores of generous and faithful donors. At chapel, former President Dr. Joe Tewinkel eloquently spoke about the importance of investing in the future and the joy it gives donors. Student Diane Eldridge challenged us all with a moving call to action. President Wiggins concluded by speaking about stewardship and the significance of continually living a life of generosity.

There were roughly 70 donors and student recipients who attended the scholarship luncheon. This time together always proves to be inspiring for both parties as they are able to meet and share with each other. Crown’s own Kammerchor sang beautifully and student Kera Kilde shared her personal story of how receiving a scholarship made it possible for her to continue with her degree.

Crown is extremely grateful for the continued support of our donors and very proud of a job well done by student recipients. To God be the glory!
