2013 Crown College Alumnus of the Year Award
2013 Crown College Alumnus of the Year Award presented to Rev. Paul Radford of Ketchikan, Alaska
On March 31, 2014, President Joel Wiggins was pleased to present Rev. Paul Radford with the 2013 Alumnus of the Year Award in Portland, OR.
Paul writes, "After graduation at age 21, I became the pastor of a small Alliance country church in Green Grove, Wisconsin and served there five years with my late wife, Wanda. It was there our three children were born.
"While in Green Grove, God called me into the ministry of planting churches and during that time, I planted and also pastored a church in Shell Lake, Wisconsin. Following that, I planted and pastored two other churches in Minnesota. My church planting calling took me to Melbourne, Australia in 1979 where I planted five churches for the C&MA."
When Paul and his wife returned from Melbourne, he became the Director of Church Planting for the South Pacific District of the C&MA. While there, the National Office asked him to become the Director of Church Planting and Church Growth for the United States, in which he served from 1989 to 1996.
In addition, Paul has organized and led prayer gatherings for the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., facilitated weekend prayer retreats for the C&MA, and taught prayer events in India, Africa, China, Australia, Columbia, and Norway.
Paul has now retired in Ketchikan, Alaska with his wife Ann where he is an Elder at Clover Pass Community Church.
Please celebrate with us as we honor Paul and his obedience to God’s calling on his life!
