The Director of Online Enrollment Marketing for the School of Online Studies and Graduate School (SOSGS) will direct the division’s marketing and communications and will assist the enrollment team by creating and implementing marketing plans and initiatives and setting and fulfilling department goals and objectives for budget in the area of SOSGS marketing. This position is responsible for enhancing the School of Online Studies and Graduate School through a variety of digital, social media and public relations platforms. The Director reports to the Dean of the School of Online Studies and Graduate School.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Advance and manage the School of Online Studies and Graduate School market positioning and competitive advantage through marketing campaigns, public relations, advertising, and working with outside vendors
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive, integrated and cost-effective digital marketing plans that highlight the online and graduate degree offerings
  • Manage lead flow generation relative to projected enrollment goals
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for continued enrollment growth
  • Responsible for planning and oversight of the online enrollment and marketing budget
  • Establish enrollment projections and monitor enrollment outcomes in conjunction with the SOSGS Dean and Director of Graduate Admissions
  • Manage the division’s blog and social media
  • Serve as the marketing and communications’ leader for the School of Online Studies and Graduate School
  • Implement brand awareness campaigns

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • Strong analytical and implementation skills
  • Experience using analytics’ tools such as Google Analytics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Broad understanding of enrollment marketing strategies and processes
  • Understand predictive modeling to build effective marketing enrollment campaigns
  • Experience with blogs and social media
  • Knowledge of WordPress  
  • Understanding of SEO principles
  • Knowledge of digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, strategic planning, organizational, managerial and communicative skills
  • Proven ability to develop and work within an annual budget
  • Be in agreement with the Crown College Statement of Faith and Community Covenant

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Two years’ experience in digital marketing and sales
  • Exposure to higher education enrollment processes and practice
  • Strong analytical and implementation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of SEO principles
  • Knowledge of digital marketing
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, strategic planning, organizational, managerial and communicative skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree
  • Five years’ experience in digital marketing and sales
  • Understanding of non-traditional admissions procedures
