The Financial Aid Director shall:
- Oversee the direction and supervision of the Financial Aid Office and personnel;
- Supervise and be involved in the awarding of financial aid;
- Manage the communication of financial aid information to students;
- Oversee the administration of the federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs;
- Prepare reports on financial aid activities; and
- Prepare the financial aid records for audits.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of five years of increased responsibility and success in a Financial Aid Office;
- In-depth knowledge of US Department of Education Federal Student Aid Handbook;
- Experience in a comprehensive financial aid office including both traditional and adult degree completion "non-standard term" systems;
- A bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred;
- Strong computer, analytical, verbal and written skills;
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, strategic planning, organizational, managerial and communication skills; and
- Be in agreement with the Crown College Statement of Faith and Community Covenant.
