Welcome to Crown College Adult & Graduate Studies: Teacher Education Program!

The mission of the Teacher Education Department is to develop classroom leaders by focusing on students' interpersonal skills through the nurturing of human relationship (skills).  We value life-long learning and current educational theory and practice (knowledge).  We focus on professionalism, informed decision-making and reflective practice (dispositions).

Crown College is committed to the preparation of teachers who are dedicated to excellence and service in the Christian mission of teaching.

 

Student may major in one of several teacher education programs:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Elementary Education
  • Educational Studies (non-licensure)

A Baccalaureate Degree is granted upon satisfactory completion of all requirements.  At the conclusion of the program, graduates are prepared to teach in public or private schools, Christian schools, and schools abroad, including mission schools.
