Crown Online Education utilizes a modular system of course delivery. This system differs greatly from the traditional correspondence courses of the past.
Each online class is offered within a specified time frame. All course requirements must be completed during that time frame. A three-credit undergraduate online course lasts five weeks, and a three-credit graduate class online lasts seven weeks.
During each week of the class, you will be required to view the course content online (class content utilizes video, power point, audio and text), submit the required assignments, and take part in online discussions with other students in the class. Other online educational tools such as journaling, webliography, and chat rooms may also be used. Due dates and structure are built into each class to help keep you on track, but there is no scheduled meeting time. Class content is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can plan your education around your life, rather than planning your life around your education.
Each degree program is designed so you can take just one class at a time and still be eligible for financial aid. Online degrees can be completed in 2-3 years if you have fulfilled the prerequisites.
