RETURNS FROM SUCCESSFUL EUROPEAN TOUR
The Crown College Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. David Donelson, toured throughout Central and Eastern Europe June 10-24. Concerts were performed in Germany, Poland, and Austria. While the choir has toured through Germany and Austria on several occasions, this was the first time a Crown choir was invited to perform in Poland. During their concert in Wroclaw, Poland, the choir sang to a standing-room-only crowd with the audience demanding three encores.
Upon exiting the church, the choir was stopped by an elderly gentleman who told them he had been attending that church all his life, but he had “seen the real Jesus for the first time through the choir’s singing.”
The choir experienced many fantastic ministry opportunities that not only changed lives within their audiences, but their own lives as well. Erin Brandt, alto, said, “I never realized that ministering in Europe would have such an impact on my own life. The music and the ministry came alive for me in every performance we sang. The Holy Spirit was so evident in every aspect of the tour!”
