SCANDINAVIAN TOUR 2005
The Crown College Choir and Crown Chamber Choir toured Norway, Sweden and Iceland in June of 2005. Highlights of the trip included performing for the Midsummer Festival in Ratvick, Sweden and singing for the 750th anniversary for the Kvinnherad Church in Rosendal, Norway. The choirs also performed in the Vasteras Cathedral (Sweden), the oldest Gothic cathedral in Scandinavia.A CD is available from the live concerts.

"The Crown College Choir of Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) sang at the summer music program of the Gloger Academy of Music. Their program was performed with soulful clarity and the best of musical expression. While many choirs take part in the Academy's summer concert series, this choir left a special impression. The group of singers worked together in a remarkable fashion. Their enjoyment of life and human interaction was amazing and the choir's musical produciton reflected this. When good singers work so well together under the professional maestro Donelson, the result is the Crown College Choir." Kongsberg, Norway

"This was one of the finest choral concerts this region has heard. The accuracy and discipline of the singers was extraordinary. The sound they produced was a wonder." Rosendal, Norway
