Crown Scholarship

Qualifications

The Crown Scholarship is available to full-time new, transfer, and continuing students.

New students must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum ACT composite score of 18 or a minimum SAT score of 860 
  • Minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 on 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrate leadership potential through involvement in church, school, and community
  • Apply for the Crown Scholarship through the Admissions Office by August 1 for fall term or December 1 for spring term.

Dollar Amount: Awards range from $2,500 to $5,500 per year.

New Transfer students must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.00 on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrate leadership potential through involvement in church, school, and community
  • Apply for the Crown Scholarship through the Admissions Office by August 1 for fall term or December 1 for spring term.

Dollar Amount: Awards range from $1,500 to $3,500 per year. 

Continuing students must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale

Scholarships for continuing students are renewable based on their Fall cumulative GPA at Crown and involvement in campus activities.  e.g. Music groups, student government. Dollar amounts range from $200 - $2,600.  This amount might be more or less than the amount received in the student's first year at Crown.

Application Requirements

Student applicants must complete the Crown College Financial Aid Application.  New and transfer students must also complete the Crown Scholarship Application which is part of the Application for Admission.
