Application ProcessOnce the first two admission requirement steps have been completed, and the College has received your evaluated transcript from WES plus your TOEFL scores, we will send you an Application for Admission to Crown College. Step 3: Submit your completed Application for Admission including your personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ at least six (6) months prior to beginning studies at Crown College (March 1 for the fall semester or July 1 for the spring semester). Enclose the $35 application fee so your application will be processed. Step 4: Give the Spiritual Life and General Recommendation forms included in the application packet to the appropriate people of your choice. Once completed, these forms should be mailed to the Admissions Office at Crown College. Step 5: Complete and return the Financial Support Form included with the application. Applicants must have sufficient financial resources to cover all educational expenses including tuition, fees, room and board, books and supplies, personal expenses, and round-trip transportation. You must submit proof of such funds before obtaining a student visa or entering the United States. All semester costs are payable at the beginning of each semester. Scholarships from a source in the applicant's home country, assistance from a church, or aid from an individual sponsor will be received as a guarantee of the student's ability to pay if the guarantee is properly documented with a letter and, when required, a statement of how and when the money will be transferred and credited to the student's college financial account. Only after these steps have been completed will the applicant be considered for acceptance. No student should assume that acceptance to the college has been granted until a formal letter to that effect is received. Step 6: After the College has received the Financial Support Form and the student is accepted, the student will be sent a completed I-20 form to be used in obtaining a student (F-1) visa. No student should make plans to enter the United States until the I-20 form is received. Crown College will not issue any I-20 forms less than two months prior to the beginning of a semester. Step 7: Upon notification of acceptance to Crown College, the applicant is required (in keeping with U.S. Immigration Law) to submit a deposit in U.S. dollars in the amount equal to one semester’s room and board, tuition, and fees. Married students must submit an amount equal to one semester’s living expenses. This money is applied toward the student’s college costs and is not an additional fee. The deposit is refundable in full if the student is unable to register. Step 8: Every student attending Crown College is assigned to a Faculty Advisor. The International Student Advisor assists International students with language testing and registration. International students must be registered as full-time students (12 or more credits) in order to legally remain in the United States on a student visa. |
